Pilates originally was founded by Joseph Pilates and has grown in popularity.
It is an excellent method to help retrain movement patterns and improve spinal function. It allows us to create specific movement patterns to help isolate or bring into function areas of the body that you don’t always get to access with normal movements.
It helps to build your lumbo pelvic control and stability around the pelvis and is often integrated into our physiotherapy sessions.
All our Physiotherapists have extensive Pilates training and we have a reformer in our Chelsea site to undertake 1-1 sessions.
